Information for Referring Professionals

If you have a client who needs one-on-one or private treatment and you want a second opinion on where, 121 Rehab provides a clinician-to-clinician assessment and several vetted options, at no cost to you or your client. We serve referrals nationally.

Who refers to us

Therapists and psychologists whose client needs a higher level of care than the practice can provide; physicians and psychiatrists arranging a step down from a hospital or a step up from outpatient care; interventionists who need programs ready before an intervention; attorneys and family offices handling a matter where treatment is part of the plan; employee assistance and licensing-board monitoring contacts; and families' advisers.

What you get

A conversation with a clinician about the case, starting with the level of care and any medical needs that affect the referral. Then two to four programs that fit, with what we have verified about their services, format, cost, and the questions worth asking. If the right answer is not a one-on-one program, we say so and point to the appropriate resource. If you ask about a program we do not know, we say that too.

How we handle your client's information

You can consult us without identifying the client. If you share identifying information, it goes no further than the assessment. We do not share referral information with programs, and we do not make introductions.

Working together after the referral

We can stay available to discuss admission and the continuing-care plan with you before your client returns home. Many of the programs we recommend expect a referring clinician to remain involved, and we encourage it.
